Tragedy in San Bernadino California

There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
And Jesus answered and said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things?
“I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
“Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem?
“I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”

Here we see a horrific tragedy and injustice, we can think:. How can this be?
But look closely at Jesus's words,  you see that life is full of injustice, nothing is guaranteed, things can happen at anytime or any moment to anyone. We have no control.  So we need to get right with the Lord first and foremost.  Life is not a game or a movie no matter how confident we may feel or some celebrity or show says.
We are always at the Lord's mercy.  God is always in control and tragedy plays into God's purposes.  Evil is allowed to take it's toll but only if the Lord allows it.  He has His purposes in mind.
No matter what happens Jesus is our focus, we must trust and rely on Him to see us through difficult times and tragedies.  Ask the Holy Spirit to give us strength to endure.
We must also pray these families that were affected by this tragedy, it's so sad but without Jesus it would be even sadder because there is no hope without Him.
