What counts in the end?

It is your relationship with Jesus Christ (Love the Lord!) It's the ultimate! And what is the second? Love your neighbor as yourself.
Luke 10:27 So he answered and said, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and 'your neighbor as yourself.'"

The Mind Battle? Yes in this age of information and even before this, everywhere you are, something is drawing attention to itself. What will count in this life? If you are famous? Rich? Noble? Have a large family? Know a lot of people? A great job? A great life? political clout?
What will you gain if you have all the riches and lose your soul? says Jesus. Matthew 16:26 "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
There is more now to distract us from Jesus than ever before: Internet, cellphones, texting, music, cable TV, movies, video games just to name of few.
Not only that, but many of these things can be our downfall as we all well know.
This blog is for encouraging Christians where ever you may be. It is assumed that you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into your life and are attending a Bible believing church. We would have you avoid these denominations: Jehovah Witness's, Mormons, Christian Science due to their false doctrines of "works makes you saved", not Jesus Christ's sacrifice and resurrection.
The focus is Christ, no rabbit trails into politics, denominations. Bring out what can help us focus our minds for Him. Suggest books, videos to encourage our walk.
