Our celluloid idols have taken all our attention on what counts in life. We watch TV for entertainment and follow the countless shows and stars, sports and learn about their every detail. We browse the web and see the countless magazines about stars lives and find more entertainment. more factoids about whatever aspects we can relate to or are curious about. The hours we can spend playing video games or sports alone is tremendous. The politics of who is wrong and right can get us ensnared in a trap of thinking one way or another. Will it stand in the end? Let us be a people to be interested in the Lord first and entertainment second. Will it make us any more righteous? No it will not but it can influence us on what should be important. Praying for salvation for friends and relatives, healing and prayer requests for our families, relatives and friends also coworkers. The Bible is a lifetime of study and application
