The Basics of Christianity

So much can be said about Christianity but what is the core beliefs we should adhere to? Love is the main theme and is so much forgotten among organizations and denominations. I like what Glenn Kaiser of Rez band says" The person you love the least is the way you love God the most!" That speaks volumes! So many of us are worried about being or looking "spiritual" but lack basic core beliefs of what our Lord says " Love your neighbor as yourself and love God with all your heart and soul, do this and you will live" The Holy Spirit is to be relied upon along with God's Word for guidance. Make it a habit to read your Bible daily, one preacher I listen to named Leo Giovinetti Leo Giovinetti recommends you read an hour a day! That is the best thing you can do for yourself!
We can be theologicaly correct and yet not have love we are nothing! It's important that we be both, shoot to be correct in Scripture and kind in works and love.
Jesus said "what credit is that to you if you only love those who love you?" Scoring points with God is not what we should strive for but pleasing Him but doing what He would have us do.
